Located just outside Charlotte, North Carolina, in Indian Trail, Sugar Creek Coffee Roasters is proud to support the local economy and offer free delivery to those within 10 miles of our roastery, while also shipping freshly roasted beans across the United States. We have a growing list of partnerships, including breweries and coffee shops, as well as several non-profit organizations we are proud to support.

How does free local delivery work?
Sugar Creek Coffee Roasters is proud to offer our local community free delivery within 10 miles driving distance from our roastery inside Sweet Union Brewing, with a (2) 12 oz. bag, (2) k-cup box, or (1) 5 lb. bag minimum. We strive to process and fulfill all orders within three to five business days of a typical business work week (Monday - Friday). You will receive an email notification indicating the specific location at your home where order has been placed upon delivery. Since we do not know if everyone has a covered porch or protected area, if there is precipitation in the weather forecast, there can be a delay to ensure the product is not damaged.
Can I request orders be picked up at the roastery?
Yes! This is one of the fastest ways to receive an order from Sugar Creek Coffee Roasters and this option can be selected at check-out and typically picked up within 48 hours of ordering during normal operating hours at our roastery inside Sweet Union Brewing at 13717 E. Independence Blvd., Indian Trail, NC, 28079. Current hours are: Monday: CLOSED, Tuesday & Wednesday: 3 - 10 p.m., Thursday & Friday: 3 - 11 p.m., Saturday: noon - 11 p.m., Sunday: noon - 8 p.m. You will receive an email notification once the order is ready for pick-up.
Is free shipping offered?
No, but we do offer a low $5.99 flat-rate shipping option for shipping across the U.S., which doesn't typically cover the actual cost of shipping we incur. With the economics involved with shipping, Sugar Creek Coffee Roasters has chosen keep costs as low as possible by not increasing all products to offer supposed "free" shipping that some others may offer. Note: Please do not choose the "pre-paid shipping" option unless you are on a pre-existing coffee subscription.
What is the time frame I can expect my order to be delivered?
Sugar Creek Coffee Roasters strives to process and fulfill all orders as fast as possible during the typical business work week (Monday - Friday). If you live locally, you should receive orders within three to five business days. If your order is being shipped, you should receive an email with a tracking number in this same time frame. Because the freshness of our coffee is very important, especially with 5 lb. bag orders, there are times when our coffee roasting and production schedule might cause a small delay to ensure the freshest roasted coffee is delivered. What is the "Coffee Growler" program?
For locals, we offer a unique program that allows customers to buy one of our state-of-the-art coffee storage canisters and continually fill it with the freshest roasted beans. We typically roast each week and will restock containers with a fresh selection of all of our award winning specialty blends. Customers can then stop by our roastery inside Sweet Union Brewing during regular business hours and refill their 1 lb. canister for the same price as a 12 oz. bag of coffee (providing essentially 4 oz. of free coffee with each refill). An upfront purchase of one of our canisters is required, but the first purchase does include a free fill of the coffee of your choice, and with 4 oz. free each time, it quickly pays for itself. This program is designed to reduce landfill waste, so official Sugar Creek Coffee Roasters canisters are required when refilling each time.
